The Pierre Ft. Pierre Capitals boys hockey team won twice yesterday in the Rooster Cup in Huron. In their first game, Pierre won 6=1 oveer Vincent Massey of Brandon Manitoba. In the second game last evening, Pierre defeated Deloraine Manitoba 3-1. Pierre played a Grand Forks North Dakota team earlier this afternoon and no score is available.
And congratulation to Kyle Rickets and Austin Lopour of the Stanley County football team. Kyle was named to the Class 9AA All State Football team by the state's high school football coaches association. Austin earned honorable mention honors.
