The Pierre 13-14 Teener baseball team was beaten by Rapid City Blue in the semi finals of the State 13-14 Teener Baseball tournament today in Sioux Falls. We don't know the score but we know that Rapid City Blue went on to win the State 13-14 Major Division championship with a 8-3 win over Brookings in the title game.
Heath Olson of Pierre fired a third round score of 74 today in the State Men's Amatuer Golf Tournament in Brookings. Olson finished 3rd in the first flight with a 54 hole score of 221 and he finished two shots behind the tournament champion. Miles Schock of Pierre had a third round score of 79 to finish with a 54 hole score 228 and a 15th place finish in the first flight championship division.
