Rain has forced the cancellation of the Chamberlain at Pierre Rattlers amatuer baseball game for tonight in Pierre. The game will not be rescheduled and the Rattlers are now off for a week. They are scheduled to go to Huron on Thursday and then to Chamberlain and Winner for games a week from Sunday.
The Pierre Post 8 American Legion team knows who will be their first round opponent in the Regional Tournament later this month. Spearfish, the same team that Pierre beat twice last night will be the first opponent Pierre will play in the Region 3A tournament that will be hosted by Rapid Cit Post 22. The tournament begins on July 20th. Pierre also travels to Spearfish to play their second to last scheduled doubleheader on July 12th.
