The Pierre 15-16 White Teener baseball team has rescheduled a rained out doubleheades from earlier this season as well as a rescheduling a doubleheader with Brookings. The White squad will travel to Brookings on July 13, with first pitch at 5:30 p.m. This doubleheader replaces the previously scheduled July 20 date. The White squad will travel to Aberdeen on July 14 and will play on Aberdeen's secondary field, which doesn't have lights. This doubleheader will start at 4 p.m.

Drivers in the Pierre and Ft. Pierre area are being reminded that there will be a number of bicyclist in the two towns on Saturday taking part in the Tour de Oahe. Over 60 riders will taking part in the event which will use Highway 1806 in Ft. Pierre to the Oahe Dam and then come back to Pierre on Highway 1804. Riders will be leaving the Americinn in Ft. Pierre in 3 different stages at 7 am, 8 am and 9 am. The riders will be ending their route on 1804 in Pierre from 10:30 am to 1 pm go through Pierre and back to the Americinn in Ft. Pierre.

A free cheer camp is scheduled for Pierre on Thursday, August 4th. The Capital Cheer Camp is for girls and boys ages 3 and up on the Park on Seneca Street. The camp for ages 3 to 10 will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 pm and the camp for those ages 11 and up will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. No registration is neccesary for the cheer camp.
