Pierre won twice yesterday in Aberdeen to finish the dual part of their tennis season with an 11-1 record. Pierre beat Aberdeen Central 5-4 and Aberdeen Roncalli 6-3. Connor Forney won twice at number 1 singles and Connor Shoop win twice at number 6 singles. They were the only double winners on the day and none of the doubles teams won both of their matches.
At the Sioux Falls O'Gorman Inv. Track and Field meet yesterday, Elizabeth Raecke of the Lady Govs won the 200 meters in a time of :27.34. Steven Gordon of the Governors won the 1600 meter run in a time of 4:40.06. They were the only individual or relay champions for the Governors on the day. The meet featured 31 teams. The Pierre girls 400 meter relay team finished 2nd to Mitchell. Joe Tetzlaff finished second in the Long Jump and Stephen Nielsen was second in the 400 meters for the Governors.
