And on a another note, from the Associated Press Wire this morning......

The Mitchell boys basketball program has been put on probation for a year. Mitchell
Activities Director Geoff Gross says that the penalty stems from a rule violation by longtime head coach Gary Munsen, who coached at least one Mitchell player out of season at a tournament camp in mid-April. The state High School Activities Association handed down the discipline at its meeting last month in Pierre. It carries a $200 fine and a letter of reprimand. Coaches will not be able to organize four team activities this summer, and the district must detail steps to ensure similar violations don't happen in the future. The Mitchell boys team finished second at the Class AA state tournament in March.
