Darren's rambings part 1

If you were Sage Rosenfels would you rent or buy? Remember him, he was the quarterback the Minnesota Vikings had been trying to trade for as their "quarterback of the future" for the last couple of seasons. What was he thinking when he ok'ed the trade from the Texans in February? Didnt he know that Brett Farve wouldnt even consider coming out of retirement again until at least March. Now its another season of holding a clipboard. Oh well, at least he isnt Tarvius Jackson. While we are on the subject, lets give the entire credit for the Farve Saga to the one person who is responsible Brad Childress. It was his off the record persuit of old #4 last year that destroyed the confidence of Jackson, who was terrible in the first month of last season. He played much better when given the chance at the end of the season, only now to see the trade for Rosnefels happen, then Farve's shoulder surgery, now the renewed courtship for the future hall of famer. When will the madness end? Hopefully it will end with the firing of Childress, the supposed offensive "genius" who cant develop a quarterback or a wide reciever. Bring in Farve, get it over with, then the Vikings can go 8-8, Farve can retire for good, and we can have a new coach. Hopefully it will happen before Adrian Peterson's career is over.

  1. Brad Childress didn't destroy the Vikings. That credit still has to go to Denny Greene. I know that was a while ago, but the Vikes were on the verge of making it happen, and Greene single-handedly destroyed a contender.
