Rod's Wednesday Ramblings

To all Vikings fans from a die hard Bears Fan. Gee that's to bad about Brett Favre. Actually, I was a bit surprised by the news, but wasn't. I really don't think he really wanted to jeapordize his Packers Legend status by joining the enemy. Athough most of the Packers still consider the Bears as "The" enemy. Kinda like World War 2 in Europe. Germany was "The" enemy. Then there was Italy. The Vikings are like Italy when it comes to the battle with Green Bay. Still, Favre must have found something he wants to be when he grows up, otherwise he would still play. We will probably see the battle now between ESPN and the NFL Network and who gets Favre's services. By the way, I don't know if you know this but the Bears have better looking fans than most. Miss America, Katie Stam, is a Bears Fan! Now I know this is just a casual observance from a married man of almost 26 years who has only one woman, my wife, but Katie is pretty dog gone cute. And Miss America is selected on Looks and Intelligence. She is a Bears fan, need I say more.

And by the way, the South Dakota all star girls basketball game last night was won by the North 59-56. Katie Lingle, 11 points and 15 rebounds. The North outrebounded the South 60 to 30. 60 rebounds. The North put up 73 shots. 73! And they only scored 59? The North was 6 of 20 from 3 point range. Steph Paluch was 1 of 8 from the field and 0 for 2 from 3 point range for 4 points. Kylee Lamb of Sully Buttes was 3 of 9 from the field for 6 points. No observations on the game since I did not see it. Only the stats and just the facts.
