Wouldn't you know it. It struggles to rain all summer and today, of all days when your hosting the State VFW 15-16 Majors Teener tournament, it rains, and rains and rains. And congrats to Kyle Cichos who was named to the Rapid City Journals All State Legion baseball team. Kyle had a monster year on the mound going 8-1 with 87 strikeouts this year and a earned run average of 2.14. It is tough to make the all state team when your team does not make the state tournament but somebody from the Journal had enough forsight and Pierre apparently had a coach who went to bat for Kyle and got him on the team. Nicely Done.
