I am impressed with the Cincinatti Bearcats. They are not your normal run of the mill Big East team. Winning at South Florida is not an easy task at their place. Beating South Florida is not easy period, just ask Bobby Bowden and anybody with Florida State. You have your quarterback go down with an injury, and Pike is one of the best in the nation at qb, and you have your backup come in and run a qb draw 75 yards for a touchdown. Get Out!!!!!!!! And that group plays defense. Don't think they are ready to upend Texas or Florida or Alabama yet, but it would be a fun game. Tell ya what, they could beat Notre Dame or USC or Oklahoma or (gulp) Nebraska although that would be a fun game to see. It'd be low scoring to say the least if they would play the Huskers.
After last night, Philadelphia will win the National League Championship Series. They have better starting pitching and their bullpen all of sudden is getting outs. And they can outscore you if it gets to that. Ah the old Anti-Christ (ooops) I mean commissioner Bud Selig must be chomping his ole smacks to have a Yankees and Phillies World Series and all that televison market in the number 1 and 4 most populated markets in the nation. $$$$$$$$ signs dancing in the ole commish'es head you know!
And it's too bad Rush Limbaugh was fired from the Cheketts group and their wanting to purchase the Rams. It probably would have gone quietly and virtually unnoticed. But you have several players throw in their 2 cents worth and you get Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson into the mix and no wonder the liberal left wing of this country can't get rid of Rush. They keep fueling his fire and that keeps the money coming into his bank. I will have to say this. Rush has probably (I don't have specific numbers) been to more NFL games thanSharpton and Jackson. And it isn't cause Al and Jesse can't afford to go.
