The Pierre 15-16 Green Teener Baseball team's scheduled doubleheader at Aberdeen scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions at Fossom Field in Aberdeen. Aberdeen recieved over 4 inches of rain a short time last night. No make up date has been made.

Next week will be a busy camp week for Pierre Governor and Lady Governor athletes. The Lady Govs Volleyball camp will be held Monday through Wednesday at Riggs High Gym. The elementary camp for girls who will be entering the third through 6th grades this coming school year will be held in the mornings from 9 am to 11:30 am with registration a 1/2 hour prior to the beginning of camp on Monday. Girls entering the 7th through 12th grades this coming school year will have their camp in the afternoon from 1 to 4 pm during the 3 days. There is no cost to take part in the camp for Pierre athletes. Out of town athletes will assesed a $25 fee. There will be a $10 fee for camp partipants for T-Shirts. The next Pierre Governor wrestling camp is scheduled for next week Thursday and Friday, July 14th and 15th at Riggs High School. The guest camp clinician will be Philip High School head coach Matt Donnelly. Donnelly is a 5 time coach of the year award winner in the sport of wrestling at Phlip and his teams have a 117-17 dual record during his tenure. Next week's camp will be split up into 3 different sessions for the two days. The camp for wrestlers who will be entering the 9th through 12th grades this school year will be held from 9 am to 11 am both days while the camp for elementary and middle school wrestlers next year will be split up with Group 1 from noon to 1 pm and Groups 2 and 3 going from 1 to 3 pm both days. There is no cost for Pierre wrestlers to compete in the camps.
